it's my birthday

It's a home alone birthday for me this year since my parents have gone to macau and china for holiday. Nice to do my own laundry once in a while...
I am really happy to celebrate my birthday eve with a friend whom I already known 18 years back, but we only regained contact a couple of years back after losing each other for about 6 years or so. Well, at least she was the first to sing me a birthday song at 12 midnight...
I really hate liars... I don't know why people lie to people important to them. I admit that I told my fair share of lies in the past, but after hurting people important to me, I know being honest is usually the best policy. I lie to insurance agents stopping me along the road, because I don't give a hoot about them. But once you lie to a friend, it's hard to earn that trust back. So when people tell a lie to you, it's either you are not important to them, or they are telling a white lie. But a grown up man like me, doesn't need to be comforted by a white lie. That wrenching pain in my heart is back again, hasn't felt like that since April.
I will really like myself never to lie to anyone important to me ever ever again, because I know it really hurts when the person finds out.
