Finally
Last night, I met up with 3 Japanese students who are coming over to NUS next sem. Together with Mark, another Singaporean grad student studying in Keio, and Philip.
7 of us went to a buffet Shabu-shabu and sukiyaki restaurant.
Finally finally, I found a Japanese student who likes soccer. Baseball is a much bigger sport here. And the best thing is that he lives in Saitama, the place where Japan National team plays their home game. For J-league, it's the very popular Urawa Reds homeground. But nevertheless, he said he would try to get tix to some game and prob go watch together...
No more home fixtures for the Japanese National team till August, so it's a bit too late, so I might have to settle for A J-league game. Well that's better than nothing.
