Through the arch, you see the Flame of Peace ( which will not be put out until the last nuclear weapon on earth is destroyed), and at the background is the A bomb Dome... Posted by Hello
Mmmm.. interesting. So is it a real flame, or what??
If it is, can't really c it. haha.. Is it like one of those olden lamp- type of flame.
Anyway, just curious.. am I right to say Japan, streetsign wise, is purely Japanese? If so, what about at tourist attractions?? Do they contain explanations in other languages?
Still at that point, I've heard of ( n seen on the net) some public/shop signs written in English that was, well not the best. Is tt true, or is it an inaccurate portrayal???
It's a real flame, like those olympic flame. Naked flame.
Most roadsigns are now in English and Japanese. You can navigate safely with English I would say. But you seldom see restaurants with English menus. Main tourist attractions now cater to people who speak english, chinese and korean. So if you can use either of them, you are pretty safe at the major tourist attractions.
Bad english signs are everywhere, if you open your eyes big. Some are amusing, some are confusing. Think you visited www.engrish.com didn't you?
